Indian Army Recruitment for Veterinary Graduates Announced

New Delhi, May 10: A golden opportunity has emerged for youth aspiring to serve the nation by joining the Indian Army. The Indian Army has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 20 positions in the Remount Veterinary Corps under the 95th Short Service Commission, open to both male and female veterinary graduate candidates.

The online application process for male candidates commenced on April 17 and will remain open until May 18. For female candidates, the application process started on April 15 and will close on May 15. Eligible candidates wishing to fill out the application form can submit their registration on the official website before the respective deadlines.

Among the positions announced by the Indian Army, 18 are for men and 2 for women. The minimum age for candidates is set at 21 years, while the maximum age is 32 years, calculated as of May 15. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on preliminary screening, SSB interview, merit list, and medical examination.

Candidates applying must possess a BVSc/BVSc & AH degree or an equivalent foreign degree from a recognized institution or university, as per the Veterinary Council of India Act, 1984.

To apply online, candidates should first visit the official website of the Indian Army. After reaching the homepage, they need to click on the active application link for the relevant position. Following this, they should register and log in. All required information must be filled in the form, and documents should be uploaded in the specified size. Finally, candidates should review their registration form and submit it, keeping a copy of the application form for future reference.
