Despite scoring only 9 runs in this match, KL Rahul has overtaken Abhishek Sharma in the race for the Orange Cap, moving to second place among the season’s top run-scorers.
KL Rahul has amassed 477 runs at a strike rate of 177 in 12 matches this season. Abhishek Sharma, with 475 runs in 11 matches, has slipped to third place. The Orange Cap is currently held by Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad, who has scored 494 runs at a strike rate of 157 in 11 matches.
Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill is in fourth place with 462 runs at a strike rate of 160 from 10 matches. His opening partner Sai Sudharsan follows closely in fifth with 440 runs from 11 matches, while Vaibhav Suryaanshi also has 440 runs in 11 matches, ranking sixth among the top scorers.
The Purple Cap is adorned by Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who has taken 21 wickets in 11 matches. Anshul Kamboj is in second place with 19 wickets, and Kagiso Rabada from Gujarat Titans holds third place with 18 wickets in 11 matches.
