
Lucknow, May 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolences following the death of Prateek Yadav, husband of Aparna Yadav, who is the Vice Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission and daughter-in-law of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. In a message on the social media platform ‘X’, he stated, “The sudden demise of Prateek Yadav, son of the late Padma Vibhushan Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav, is extremely sorrowful. My heartfelt condolences are with the grieving family. I pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to endure this immense sorrow.”
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also expressed his sorrow, posting, “The news of the sudden demise of Prateek Yadav, son of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav, is very sad. My deep condolences to the grieving family. May God grant the departed soul a place at His feet and provide strength to the family during this difficult time.”
The Samajwadi Party, through its official ‘X’ handle, shared its condolences, stating, “The death of Prateek Yadav is extremely sad. May God grant peace to the departed soul. Humble tributes.”
Earlier, Pankaj Singh, President of the Uttar Pradesh BJP, also conveyed his sympathies, writing, “The news of the demise of Prateek Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav, is very sad. My condolences are with the grieving family during this difficult time. May God grant the departed soul a place at His feet and give the family the strength to bear this immense sorrow.”
Prateek Yadav passed away on Wednesday morning at the Civil Hospital in Lucknow. The 38-year-old was admitted for treatment but the cause of death has not yet been disclosed. The family has not made any formal confirmation regarding the circumstances of his passing.
