Opposition to Remain Out of Power Until 2047, Says Keshav Maurya

Agra, June 7: Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has made a sharp political attack on the opposition, claiming that the public has rejected their politics and that they will remain out of power until 2047. During a review meeting in Agra, he warned officials that any negligence in implementing the welfare schemes of the central and state governments would not be tolerated.

Maurya criticized the opposition, stating that their alliances and meetings are not for public interest but rather for preserving their political existence. He asserted that the public has dismissed the negative politics of the opposition.

On his visit to Agra, the Deputy Chief Minister held a high-level review meeting with public representatives, BJP officials, and senior administrative officers at the Circuit House. The meeting focused on the review of development works, law and order, and the implementation of government schemes.

He emphasized that the goal of the Bharatiya Janata Party is not just to win elections but to translate the commitment to good governance and the upliftment of the last person into reality. Maurya instructed officials to ensure that all welfare schemes of the double-engine government are implemented with complete transparency and that eligible beneficiaries receive benefits in a timely manner.

He stated that any delay or laxity in the implementation of any scheme would not be accepted. Maurya also stressed the importance of preserving and beautifying water bodies developed under the Amrit Sarovar scheme, directing that they become centers of attraction for local residents.

He urged the completion of construction and repair works under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) before the onset of the monsoon. Additionally, he called for an acceleration of awareness campaigns to economically empower women through self-help groups.

Maurya advised officials to maintain regular communication with public representatives and promote innovation in development works. He warned that strict action would be taken against officials who neglect the resolution of public issues, ensuring accountability at all levels.
