Amaravati, June 1: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has accused the opposition YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) of plotting to create unrest and derail good governance in the state. Speaking at a public meeting after attending the ‘NTR Bharosa Pension Distribution‘ program in Chamavaram village, Naidu claimed that the YSRCP is desperate in the face of the state’s development and is attempting to incite hatred.
He highlighted recent incidents, stating that while the coalition government works tirelessly for the upliftment of the state, the previous rulers continue to engage in destructive activities. “This is why we refer to the current opposition as the ‘axe party’,” he stated.
Naidu criticized the former government for failing to fill any teaching positions during its five-year tenure. He noted that despite facing 241 legal cases, the coalition government successfully resolved these issues and filled all vacant teaching posts.
He further alleged that the previous government announced an ’employment calendar’ but later reneged on its promise. “The current government has only released the employment calendar after returning to power,” he asserted.
Naidu emphasized that the process of filling these vacancies was conducted in a robust and efficient manner, utilizing a computerized system to ensure transparency. He accused the YSRCP of politicizing the issue out of desperation for political gain.
The Chief Minister also alleged that opposition representatives, while on a condolence visit, were involved in the death of their own party worker, Singayya, and attempted to frame the incident on others. He mentioned that CCTV footage helped expose this conspiracy.
Additionally, Naidu accused YSRCP members of attempting to desecrate a sacred site by secretly placing bottles of alcohol in the Kaustubham Guest House at Tirumala. “I warn that attacking and desecrating Hindu temples through malicious conspiracies is unacceptable,” he stated.
He concluded by alleging that the murder of Pedda Dastagiri over a property dispute in Kadapa was orchestrated by YSRCP members, who attempted to blame the TDP for it.
