Iran Proposes €50 Million Reward for Trumps Assassination

Tehran, May 16: Iranian media has reported a controversial proposal by the Iranian government to offer a reward of €50 million for the assassination of U.S. President Donald Trump. This proposal is set to be presented in the Iranian parliament.

According to Iran Wire, Ibrahim Azizi, chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament, announced that military and security agencies of the Islamic Republic are drafting a plan called “Counter-Action,” which includes this reward for Trump‘s assassination.

Azizi stated that Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the commander of the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) should be targeted under this plan. He emphasized their roles in the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as justification for the targets.

Supporters of the government, including media outlet “Masaf” led by Ali Akbar Raefipour, previously claimed that financial resources amounting to $50 million have been secured for a campaign dubbed “Kill Trump.”

Iran Wire also reported that the hacking group “Handala” issued a statement claiming they have allocated $50 million for the elimination of Trump and Netanyahu. The group stated that this amount would be given to any individual or group that carries out the actual operation, with their communication and financial channels secured through encryption and anonymization technology.

According to Iran International Media, Azizi informed state television that since the onset of the war in March, parliament members have prepared several bills, including one concerning retaliatory actions by military and security forces.

He asserted, “We believe that the U.S. President, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, and the CENTCOM commander should be targeted and face retaliation.”

Azizi further stated, “It is our right. Just as our Imam was martyred, any Muslim or free person should also confront the U.S. President.”

The proposed bill stipulates that if any individual or organization successfully carries out this mission, the government will be obligated to reward them with €50 million.

In early March, a large-scale text message campaign promoting an international initiative related to “reward for Trump’s assassination” was sent to mobile users in Iran, as claimed in screenshots shared with Iran International.
